Medicare and Medicaid for seniors

Medicare and Medicaid are very useful for senior citizens and people with permanent disables to get the medical and health service. Medicare and Medicaid are similar both in name and in service. But there is still the difference between the two terms. Medicare provides health insurance to people who are over 65 and some under 65 with disabilities and certain diseases while Medicaid provides health insurance to those who have a low income and little or no resources. However, both Medicare and Medicaid are very helpful for us. People who go to hospitals most often, Medicare is very suitable.

Medicare has four different parts. There are Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D. Medicare Part A is hospital insurance that is funded by government to benefit certain individuals. Medicare Part B is medical insurance which Medicare Part A cannot cover such as Doctor’s service, etc. Medicare Part C is medical service that combines the advantages of Part A and Part B. Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage to reduce the high costs of prescription for seniors during their health care. In Medicare, you or seniors will also get medicare supplemental insurance.
