The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK raises vital funds for research into bowel cancer and increases public awareness of the disease.

Around two-thirds of bowel cancer cases could be prevented by changes to lifestyle. You can reduce the risk of the disease by being physically active, maintaining a healthy body weight, cutting down on alcohol and eating a healthy, balanced diet.
Pass the message on – midfielders – Michael Carrick and Shaun Wright-Phillips
Encourage family or friends to take part in screening when they are invited and tell them about bowel cancer and the symptoms.
Attack the disease – striker – Theo Walcott
In the 15 years since Bobby Moore died, the Fund has raised over £12 million pounds through a variety of fundraising events and initiatives.

"My England team-mates and I were shocked to find out that 44 people die from bowel cancer every day in the UK and yet over eight out ten cases can be successfully treated if detected early enough."
